Do you pin? I am a huge fan of Pinterest (follow me!), it's a great source of DIY projects, motivational images, and ideas for just about anything you are thinking about getting into. You can find plenty of workout programs and diet tips on there, with an entire subcategory dedicated to "Health & Fitness". Here's the problem... how many of those workout plans or diet tips have you actually followed? If you can honestly answer "one" or "two", I commend you because you're well ahead of me. So here's my challenge to you: either use what you're pinning or get off the computer!
We spend so much time on the computer reading blogs and scrolling through Facebook that we lose out on time we could be doing something truly good for ourselves, like getting up and moving around. This may sound hypocritical of me as a blogger and website manager (and I love posting on Facebook about what I'm up to), but I work this all into my daily schedule just like I work in the 2 hour run I'll be doing later today or the 45 minute Insanity workout I've planned for the day. If you feel like you're too busy to workout, start keeping track of how much time you are putzing around the internet instead of moving around.
Go ahead, challenge yourself to spend less time reading and pinning and more time moving. Even if you just start with going outside for a little walk as a break from work rather than spending 20 minutes online, it can make a huge difference. Think about it... 20 minutes a day is over 2 hours a week you're getting your body moving that you weren't before. And once you really get moving, then you can go back to Pinterest and use it for motivation and workout ideas (that you actually use).
So happy moving, and eventually happy pinning/blogging!
